Recently a customer asked how to use CABLE with either Strava or MapMyRide. Here are instructions on how to use CABLE with either application. It should be noted though that currently both apps only support Bluetooth heart rate devices. Other cycling sensors are not supported.
In Strava, currently it only supports Bluetooth Heart Rate devices. After pairing a CABLE with a ANT+ heart rate monitor through our CABLE Util app, in Strava go to the gear icon at the top right after selecting record. Tap heart rate sensor and Strava will search for Bluetooth sensors. Make sure your heart rate monitor is on and CABLE will appear after a few seconds as a heart rate sensor.
Select gear icon Select Heart Rate Sensor Select CABLE from Sensor List
CABLE is now connected Confirmation heart is being received
MapMyRide,
After pairing a CABLE with a ANT+ heart rate monitor through our CABLE Util app, in MapMyRide go to the gear icon at the top right. Go to the gear icon at the top right after selecting record.
