How do I set up CABLE with a Concept2 Trainer?

Q: Does CABLE work with Concept2 trainers? 

CABLE works with the PM4 consoles with updated firmware to support the FE broadcast mode.  Refer to Concept2 documentation for details on setting up the broadcast mode. You may need to enable the FE broadcast mode each time you power up the console before CABLE can start tracking the device.

Since the Concept2 trainers are not controllable via the wireless interface, you can choose which BLE service you would like to map the ANT+ FE profile through.  If your fitness app of choice supports FTMS you will want to choose the FTMS service since it typically can combine more ANT+ services together into a single FTMS service and it also supports the rower specific equipment type. 

If your chosen fitness app does not support FTMS, then you can route the ANT+ FE data to the Cycling Power Service (CPS) and the Cycling Speed and Cadence Service (CSCS).
