    so it seems that its not the app version,   just tried with my husbands phone that has the older cable app version, and still doesnt work...    so,  its either the Zwift update or the cable firmware update...

    just tried husbands zwift app on his ipad. that has the older version .  still not working.  that leaves the cable firmware update.    :(

    OMG.  fixed..   no idea how,  started all over again, deleted app,  took out battery,  reinstalled app, added back sensors,  tho that was tricky the add sensor screen flashes by so fast,  doesnt stay,  so that took a few tries, and seems to be working now.     thank god.
