Heartbeatz not working (only 8 months old)
In March I bought a Heartbeatz unit to use with my iPhone/Apple Watch/Garmin Edge 830. It's worked perfectly up until now. I thought the battery was dead so I changed it but it still doesn't work. I've tried 2 new batteries to make sure that it's not dud, upon inserting the new battery, there's a single orange flash on the Heartbeatz unit and then nothing. Is it faulty? Is there anything that can be done? Will you replace it if it is faulty?

Hi. I encountered this same issue a month ago when mine was ready for its first battery change. I put a brand new battery in and it flashed once and that’s it. I’m trying to remember exactly how I resolved it. I’m pretty sure I removed the battery for a while and the reinstalled it. Pretty sure that worked.

Hello Sonia - The most likely solution is either having to reenable Bluetooth and/or HealthKit permissions if your Watch OS was recently updated. A dead battery which would need to be replaced, or, if you have changed your battery, the battery contacts might have gotten bent downward and aren't making contact with the electronics board.
