    After loading the update on my phone I couldn’t get the watch to show the new features (the watch wouldn’t update from 1.0.1). Force quit of watch and phone app didn’t help. I finally uninstalled the watch app and reinstalled it. That worked and haven’t had any issues since. Maybe try to uninstall/reinstall. 

    Could your issue be related to the new audio interface on the watch app? Do you have “Auto-launch Audio Apps” turned on? I have that setting off. Maybe there is a bug with that feature that keeps launching the app? I’m just taking guesses.
