Phantom power and cadence when not peddling

Garmin Vector V1 only device paired to cable. Cable is used to transmit power/cadence data to Zwift.

Generally appears OK until I stop peddling and then there is a residual cadence value transmitted and blips of power. This is not helpful when competing in a time trail event as I would creep over the line before my allotted start time and get me DQ'd.

The phantom power is visible in the cable application.

Is this expected behaviour ?

  I'm seeing the same. Cadence spins up responsively but doesn't go to zero when I stop for a good 15-30 seconds.

  Any update on this?

  I’m I’m having this problem too. Cadence takes 10 seconds or more to drop to zero after I stop pedaling.
