Cadence stopped working after configurez update

I downloaded this new app and it says it updated the firmware on my Runn. Now my cadence is completely wacky - shows either 256 or 2.

  I noticed that my cadence was erratic at low speeds (walking and light jogging pace).  At faster run paces the cadence seemed to work reasonably well... I have my Runn module mounted at the front of the belt closer to where my foot impact is.

  I'm adding myself to this issue.  I see totally random values for cadence when running...  Unless I'd super and can run at 10km with a cadence of 30...
