What if my treadmill doesn’t have a flat edge to install?

My treadmill has no flat part to install the device on - should I make it flat by adding something under it or does that matter?

  Hi - You will want to mount the Runn on a flat surface, you can create a little shim to make it flat for your treadmill. In the future we are hoping to create a Runn adapter kit so that it can mount on non-flat treadmill decks.

  I used sugru to mount the bracket level on the side of my sloped precor treadmill. If you don’t intend to move the bracket, it has been a good solution in my hands.
