Is there currently any software that supports the incline data from Runn
Hi,
I know Runn is new to the market, and leading edge :-) , however for now it seems that no other fitness platform (Garmin, Zwift, Xert, Stryd app) supports the incline data (other than the Runcline app).
I'm just curious to know if the other fitness platforms are going to support Runn's incline data in the future.
Is there any visibility on this ?
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob, we'll dig into this to see what we can find! Stay tuned to this post for updates :)
Update: We have released a Connect IQ data field for Garmin watches to support incline data: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/6e90be3d-e880-4ece-aa27-3cd169143e3b

Hi Rob,
The Runn incline is being logged in the Zwift data and passed to Strava.
You can see the gradient in mobile app and webpage but it's difficult to make out any visual changes in the value.
I then use veloviewer to analyse the Strava data, that has a trace of the incline as a percentage which is much easier to read.

Hi Jason,
Thanks. Yes, I just noticed :-)
My current configuration for logging my treadmill run is Zwift with bluetooth connections for Treadmill = Runn, Cadence = Stryd. That way I get power data from Stryd as well.
I notice a tiny velocity difference between Runn and Stryd (Runn is slightly faster, and I put this down to the treadmill calibration being done at three different velocities with nobody running on the treadmill). This difference is marginal that it pretty much makes no difference.
Now I just cross my fingers Zwift will compensate the higher power applied when running on an incline :-)

Hi Andy, true whilst you are running in Zwift you can't see the incline or elevation on the 'game' graphics or in myzwift. The incline data is being recorded and is only visible once the data is pushed across to Garmin Connect or Strava. We will have to be patient for an update to Zwift!
