  I use Heartbeatz With my Apple Watch 5 to connect to my edge 830.  This seems to be working well.  Thanks!

  But once I start my ride when I look at my watch the heartbeatz screen pops up.  I’d like it to only do that when I open it.  I have the heart rate on my Garmin screen and would rather use my watch for other info.

  I believe that’s the way Apple Watch software works. When an activity is running (heartbeatz, Strava, etc,) it is prioritized to be the default screen. I don’t think it can be changed unless Apple decides to change it.
