CABLE Sufferfest- drops and spikes in speed only
AnsweredMy CABLE was purchased in Jan. 2019 and worked fine for 6 months. It is paired with a Garmin HR strap, and the individual speed and cadence sensors.
In late July I began to experience this problem.
I use Sufferfest and experience intermittent spikes and drops on the speed only. These can occur as frequently as once per minute, though there can be a 10-15 minute stretch with no issues.
Heart Rate and cadence are not impacted by these drops/spikes.
CABLE has the latest firmware and is paired to iPhone 7 running iOS 13.
I do not think this is a WiFi interference issue as it is limited to the speed (wheel-mounted sensor). This also happens out on the road while running Sufferfest.
Data downloaded directly from my GArmin Forerunner 620 does not have the drops and spikes and the speed is consistent with my level of effort.
Is there possibility of corruption on the BLE signal out of the CABLE?
Thanks,
Matt

We originally opened a support ticket from this post, to get more information to solve this issue.
For those interested in the solution: By routing your sensors through CPS instead of CSCS, this will eliminate the spikes in the speed for CABLEs used with The Sufferfest app.
