Runn Garmin Forerunner 245, connected as FP sensor, but not a sensor?
I have the Runn connected to my Forerunner 245, as an FP sensor. When I start an activity it shows it is being connected. I also told the watch to use this sensor for indoor speed and distance. However the distance is way off, almost 2x too high. The speed that ConfigurEZ reports seems fine. The Runn is the only sensor connected. When I look at the recorded activity in Garmin Connect, The FP does not show as a sensor. And the FP does not show up as a sensor under the devices menu either. So I suspect it is not being used?
I subsequently installed the NPE Runn Data Field, but that didn't change anything.
Should the Runn show up as a sensor in Garmin Connect? (Both in the activity and under the device menu?)
The LED toggle test shows the sensor is picking up the flags. And the speed is reasonable as reported by ConfigurEZ.

Hi Bumm,
If it is almost 2x as high, it almost sounds like an issue converting from MPH to KMH. What is your watch set to? If the ConfigurEZ speed is fine, then we know the Runn is reporting proper speed and it's an issue in the Garmin watch. Are you using the indoor/treadmill running workout type in the watch?
The data field is only for getting incline into the watch, so I'm not surprised that didn't affect the speed.
Thank you,
Daniel
