Runn Sensor & Garmin Watch: Does it count/report steps?

Hey,

before I buy the sensor I just wanted to know if the Runn Sensor also updates your stepcount, if you connect with a Garmin Watch.

  It does have the ability to report cadence, so it should as long as you are recording a workout. We do also offer a 30 day return policy if you'd like to order one and try it out.
